Culture Magazine was created in an academic environment where we were exploring type and magazine design. Having multiple design inspirations from magazines such as Eye Magazine, WIRED, BOMB Magazine, and more. This was a fun project and introduction to type and I love the concept I was going for, this will be revisited in the future!
Things I've Come Across
Things I've Come Across: A Collection of Words From Various People is another typography project I had in an academic setting. Simply put it is a TikTok poetry book, a collection of stories, poetry, and moments with some additional images edited to fit the black-and-white color palette. This book was very much inspired by the poetry books I grew up with, particularly Shel Silverstein's Where The Side Walk Ends.
